Troubadour Golf & Field Club, a Discovery Land Company community, is pleased to announce the opening of its 18-hole Tom Fazio-designed golf course this fall.

With the spectacular natural backdrop of the rolling Tennessee countryside, the course is expertly integrated into the landscape for a superb combination of beauty and playability that challenges beginning and veteran players alike. Fazio has used his extraordinary design skills to create dramatic golf holes that traverse rock outcroppings and wetlands. It’s “going to be a very unique and special golf experience,” he says.

The course is already creating buzz among golf professionals. “I’m very excited to be a part of Troubadour,” says PGA Player of the Year and PGA champion Justin Thomas. “The beautiful elevations of the golf course, along with the state-of-the-art practice and fitness facilities will help me improve.”

Those practice facilities include a Trackman Range, which provides instant accurate feedback and is compatible with the 7-by-12-foot HD screen on the driving range. Members will also enjoy gathering at the Sippin’ Shack on the driving range to enjoy a cold drink and Southern-style barbecue, or they can pause while on the course for something sweet or savory (and thirst quenching) at one of Discovery’s two signature comfort stations.

PGA Tour winner and club resident Ben Crane notes that Troubadour members “will enjoy a premier golf experience with world-class amenities. Our family couldn’t be more excited to create lasting memories with family and friends at Troubadour.”

To celebrate the opening of the course, Troubadour is hosting the 2019 Fazio Cup Charity Golf Tournament, which is contested every two years by members of Tom Fazio–designed courses across the country. Net proceeds go to the Tom Fazio Charities Fund, which support organizations that assist children and their education.
